License for Media Use

This gallery is an invitation to share the beauty of the Waldviertel — with respect for creative work and a fair approach to image rights.

We are happy to support you in realizing your creative ideas using selected media from our image gallery showcasing the Waldviertel region. With a granted usage license, the respective media may be used free of charge for a wide range of purposes, including: TV broadcasts, book covers, wall art, photo wallpapers, brochures, catalogs, websites, tourism advertising, and presentations.

Obtaining a Usage License

As part of a collaboration, you may receive high-resolution photos and watermark-free timelapse videos for use. Licenses are granted individually and are non-transferable.

Available Formats

Photos: JPG or RAW file format

Videos: HD or 4K at 25 fps or 29.97 fps

Optional: LOG format for custom color grading

Timelapse videos can be integrated directly into your video production.

Unauthorized Use

Using photos or timelapse videos with watermarks is prohibited. A granted license is valid only for the licensee and may not be transferred to third parties.

Consequences of Unauthorized Use

Violations of copyright law—especially unauthorized use of licensed media—will be prosecuted. For each unlawfully used medium, an appropriate compensation will be demanded based on the nature of use. Legal action may also be taken.
